You really shouldn't put traced images on here... :(
Y'all are mean. Tracing is not the same as looking at something and drawing what you see. I've seen her draw in person and she does not trace.
Wow, this is an old comment you replied to! To me, the pictures in question look traced, but it is difficult to be 100% sure because the original images were done digitally while your friend's pictures were done traditionally. However, it is not unreasonable to suspect that she may have simply printed off an image an traced it.

But let's say she DIDN'T trace the images. Don't you think she should at least obtain permission from the artists BEFORE posting work she directly copied from them? She didn't even bother to credit them in the description. From what I can gather she seems to have abandoned the account shortly after this all came to light.
Sure, she should have, but that doesn't make all of the "tracing comments" necessary. One person saying it is enough. From what I remember, this is part of the reason she left. She was upset that people thought she was wasting her talent tracing. As a former friend and witness to her work, who also practices art techniques, I see some of the drawings she has done are simply practices to improve her skills. Looking at something and then puting it down on paper. I've done the same thing to enhance my knowledge on proportions. Does it mean I traced? No. It simply means I know how to look at something, whether its a photo found on google or a figurine on display, and mimick what I see.
Seriously though, for all any of you know, she could have found the photos on a random google page that doesnt credit the work which leaves her stuck on who to credit. But instead she's accused of tracing. If you guys took the time to actually look through her gallery, you'd see that there is more original works than anything, proving that she does have enough skill to know better than tracing. It's a shame to see such talent be put down because other had nothing better to do than criticize her.

And quite honestly, I have seen far more inappropriate things on this site than tracing and no one bothered to get on to them about it.

Looks like another cam-whore got lost on her way to Facebook...
It's againt deviantART rules to post images that don't belong to you (i.e. traced). Follow the rules and delete your stolen work or get off deviantART.
